NHS Pledge

I pledge myself to maintain high scholastic standing 
To hold as a fundamental and worthy
An untarnished character,
To endeavor intelligently and courageously
To be a leader,
And to give myself freely in service to others.
In so doing, I shall prove myself worthy
Of a place in the National Honor Society.

Purpose

The National Honor Society is the front runner of organizations and societies that promote appropriate recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Thousands of schools are chartered and their chapters are following the Constitution. The National Association Of Secondary School Principals believes the National Honor Society has made a positive difference in the lives of individuals and in the spirit of the community and school.
